Tallgrass Prairie in America the Beautiful Quarters Program

I learned yesterday (9/9/09) that the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve is to be featured in the United States Mint-America the Beautiful quarters program. The Tallgrass Prairie design is to be the 55th coin and issued in the year 2020. While that seems like a LONG time to wait, it's really cool that this little "place of my heart" is going to be on a coin! Read more about this coin program here.
