Office Chairs and Cast Iron Cookware

As some of you may know, I spent a good portion of my Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday working on a macro edit for Seeds of Summer. I finally completed my revisions . . . and celebrated by spending some of my Christmas money!

So comfy, I should be able to sit at my desk for hours and hours . . . working on Book #3 - Blades of Autumn.

Lodge Cast Iron Cookware
This is a gift from my hubby that I have been enjoying immensely. I've never cooked with cast iron before, but let me tell you, it's great! Cooks excellent, clean-up is easy, and though it's heavy, it has a nice second handle for lifting. Plus, I store it on top of my stove--ready to use again. So far, I've made breakfast burritos, fried chicken strips and eggs & bacon in it. Food just tastes better when it's cooked on this stuff. I'm eager to try making cornbread in it.

Do any of you cook with cast iron? Did you buy it new or was it handed down to you by your grandma? Oh, and if you have a favorite recipe, I'd love for you to share in the comment section below!
