This past weekend, my husband's grandparents celebrated their 70th anniversary. That's an amazing accomplishment, so we celebrate with you, Grandma & Grandpa Vogts. Happy Anniversary!
Also this weekend, our corn was ready to harvest, so yesterday everyone had to dig in and help with the process. Pick the corn, shuck the corn, silk the corn, cut and freeze the corn. What we did yesterday should last us most of the year. Yay!
A dear friend of mine came to visit while we were processing our corn harvest. She and her family now live near San Francisco, CA, so they only get back once or twice a year. Sherri and I go way back to a high school friendship made through 4-H. Though our lives have changed, and we live a long way apart, it is always so good to get together!
