I don't usually participate in blog awards, but thought this one might be fun. Virginia Tenery nominated me for the Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award, so thank you very much Virginia!

Seven things you might not know about me:
- I sold Princess House Crystal when I was a Junior in High School.
- I showed Hampshire hogs in 4-H at the county fair.
- I watched our home burn down at the age of 15 in a robe and bare feet in the middle of December.
- I jumped off a runaway horse and broke my arm and wrist when I was a Freshman in High School.
- I taught beginning piano lessons for eleven years, teaching all three of our daughters to play as well as many children from school.
- I was an avid fan of Days of Our Lives for 40 years. My parents used to watch it during their lunch break on the farm, so I became hooked on the soap opera at a very young age.
- I began dating a high school classmate after celebrating our 5th year high school reunion. We'll celebrate twenty-two years of wedded bliss on February 14th!
