Country Cupboard Book Signing

This past weekend, I had my first book signing for Seeds of Summer at the Country Cupboard, a lovely gift shop (12 North Main) in Fort Scott, KS. Judy Renard, owner, took care of the publicity and made sure all of her customers were aware of the event. Her shopkeepers made me feel so welcome and special. I missed meeting Judy, as she had a family reunion in Arkansas to attend, but I plan to return one day soon!

Strawberry Lemonade and Snickerdoodle cookies were provided by Cynthia McFarland from next door at Life+Style, a gourmet kitchen store. Both were perfect and tasted so good on that warm day!

I so enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new fans (and new friends) from the area. My daughters accompanied me but kept busy browsing the downtown shops and visiting the old Fort Scott National Historic Site that held reenactments over Memorial Day Weekend. Thanks, everyone for inviting me to your community, the lovely Historic Fort Scott.
