Last month, we enjoyed a family vacation/music tour in the Rocky Mountain state of Colorado.
It was a thirteen day tour with 9 concerts--so not only did we delight in hearing a lot of our daughters' music--we also squeezed in some beautiful scenic sites.
The rivers and streams were flowing with fresh, cold mountain water--
and we drank it in,
especially when we'd heard that Kansas was enjoying 100 degree temperatures.
We didn't have a lot of free time, but we managed to squeeze in a couple of hikes.
|My parents joined us on a couple of the hikes. Here catching their breath and sitting a spell.|
The trails were exhilarating
and most delightful when we reached our destination...
The waterfalls were breathtaking.

The mountains were majestic and gorgeous.
And the wildflowers were beautiful
There was something really special...and haunting about the aspens as we passed by them.
We had such fun in Colorado and look forward to returning next year!
