This past weekend I joined fellow Kansas authors, Deborah Raney and Kim Vogel Sawyer for a weekend book signing tour in Central Kansas. It was a lot of fun meeting old & new friends and readers. Thanks bunches, to the following book stores for their generosity, creativity and willingness to host us for the weekend tour:
- Thee Bookstore, 117 N Main, Hillsboro, KS
- The Well, 109 N Main, McPherson, KS
- Faith & Life Bookstore, 606 N Main, Newton, KS
The tour began with a detour to the Mexican Restaurant in Hillsboro with good friends, Julane & Sara. Here are a few more pictures from the weekend:
Here with Kim, Deb and Sara at Thee Bookstore in Hillsboro. The owner of the store turned the evening into a festive event by creating a Girls Night Out with coupons for a free drink at Little Pleasures Coffeehouse. Sara helped make cute giveaways that included a sample mix of my pancake recipe (from Seeds of Summer) so everyone would have something to remember the evening.

Here with a family relative on my mother's side. I actually met several family members on this weekend outing from the Vogts' family. It was wonderful meeting everyone. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to attend one of our events. Tonight I'll be giving a presentation at the Public Library in Parsons, KS at 6:30 PM.
