Grandma's Birthday

This evening our family celebrated my grandma's 88th birthday--a day for rejoicing. As a girl, I always spent a week at grandma's house during the summer. We spent our days baking cookies, having tea parties, reading stories--and we always went garage sale shopping on Saturday. We'd figure out the sales we wanted to hit the night before, and then we would get up early to "find the good sale." Such fun memories! She loved blue trinkets--baskets, dishes and jewelry. (And still does!) So, Grandma Swiler, this post is for you. I treasure you in my heart! Wishing you God's blessings & all my love!
